Race Day

Our church put on a 5K last weekend and Nate and I ran it (well, I suffered through the 90^ heat, but Nate continued to pass all those that had been training - all the while PUSHING the girls in the stroller!) Yeah, I know, he's amazing!

Anyway, the reason for the post... Given our name, we were registered as runner #1 and #2 - we got a kick out of it - but Nate was quick to point out that if I had registered him as Carl, HE would have been #1... I think it's right the was it was! :-)

Gunner

Oh how big he got! :-) Gunner is about 6 months old now.... still don't know what kind of dog he is exactly, but he's still sweet!

Bray Reunion

In July we went to Alabama to hang with our family on my Dad's side. Here are some fun pictures of the girls hanging out at the Bray Reunion, making their time fun!

St. Pete Beach

Nate's parents came to visit in May and they offered to watch the girls overnight so Nate and I took the military up on a deal they were offering with a hotel on St. Pete Beach... a free night! You certainly can't beat that, a free night on the beach, just the two of us, and the girls had a great time hanging out with the grandparents! We so loved this!

New Bike

When Nana and Poppy (Nate's parents) were here this year, they bought Abigail a "Big Girl" bike. She of course just loves it and wants to ride all the time. Too cute!

5 years and still going strong!

Today is our 5 year anniversary! We have a ton of stuff to do today, but then we're heading down to the Naples Grand for some much needed time away - to relax and just be together! I can't wait!

Making a Mess!

One of Madelyn's favorite things in life is to make a mess of anything.... writing on walls, or the floor... squirting toothpaste everywhere, or rubbing diaper rash cream all over herself (and her sister)... this particular time, she was loving some pudding, and apparently she got some on her dress - well, how better to clean up, then to lick herself clean!? :-)

Love this girl, she's so stinkin sweet! Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us, it was great to hang out with so many friends and family! We are so blessed!
