Abigail's message to Daddy

I feel a little badly sharing this with the whole world - but I really just can't resist. The girls get hold of the video camera quite bit (so I find out when I go to download) and I have to delete 5 - 1 second videos. HOWEVER, this time actually paid off. I am so surprised and tickled at the same time that Abigail actually did this AND the fact that I had no clue!! She makes me laugh out loud every time I see it!

My Incredibly Brave Girls (part 2)

Ok, so at the end of the last swimming season, Maddie seemed fearless in the water and was swimming with no jacket. However, we've been in the pool since April and she has decided to wear her swim jacket or a floaty every time. For the last few weeks, she's been slowing working out of a floatation device, until Saturday when she was back to swimming from side to side all on her own! She is very proud of herself and I am too! She's getting so big!

We bought this huge turtle at the store the other day and the girls have loved it ever since! Not only do they have fun on it, but it's another good way for Abigail to help Maddie and take care of her, and it's helping Maddie be more courageous in the water. She has fallen off of the turtle before and has had to figure out how to swim to the side! Who knew a turtle could be such great training!? :-)

My Incredibly Brave Girls (Part 1.5)

Proof of Abigail swimming with her face under the water - her Daddy is going to be floored! This has been a long awaited event!

My Incredibly Brave Girls! (Part 1)

Thanks to a little "Aunt Cole Encouragement" my sweet Abigail is now brave enough to jump into the pool with no floaty AND swim with her face under the water!!! I have been trying to get her to put her face in the water for months with no success!
I am so proud of her!! I keep encouraging her and telling her that Daddy is going to love to see her do all of that, to which she responds, "Daddy is going to be so proud of me!"
She is right!!! GO Abigail!

Sweet Maddie

My sweet girl fell asleep on the couch a few days ago (well, who am I kidding, we both fell asleep on the couch..) But, I woke up in time to catch this cute picture of Romeo finding a comfy place to nap as well. He is loud, but oh so loving!

Girls First Tea Party

We went to a Tea Room in Winter Haven yesterday. The girls dressed up in the tutus I made them for Christmas and virtually all the jewels they had in the dress up drawer! They were so cute... and could barely get buckled in their car seats! LOL
They did a great job pouring "tea" (really lemonaide) and loved eating the scones! We ordered pb&j that was shaped as a teddy bear (although poorly done) and they nibbled on their fruit and downed their ice cream!
THey had a blast trying on all the hats and boas, and enjoyed some "grown up" conversation with their friend Brooke! It was a fun girly event! :-)
HOWEVER, Cori (Brooke's mom) and I are convinced that we could do a Tea Room better! :-)
(Surprise, Surprise!) :-)

A Few Pics of the Fun!

Bike/Scooter/Walk - I think we made it about 1/2 a mile, total! :-) These 3 little guys were so tired going "up hill" that I had to push and pull them along!A little stop for running... and resting... :-)

Ice cream at Brusters (thank goodness for free kiddy cones!) Every night I ask the kids what their favorite part of the day was. E said ice cream and Abigail said her ice cream b/c it had eyes on it! (It's true, little candy ones, that she ate first!)
Mad had some eyes on hers too, see below! :-)
Purple Dinsosaur ice cream! (check out the sprinkle on her eye!) :-)

Dressing up as cows for Cow Appreciation day to get free dinner at the Chick!
Maddie says, "MOO" for the picture!
Such good sports, although my littles hated the cows... imagine that! :-)
thankfully we knew the employees at the restaurant and they graciously kept the cows at bay!
Showing off the shirts they made this week!
Had a blast, more pics to come at another time....
