Lots of Pictures!

Brady O's big birthday bash in Arcadia! Not only did the girls get filthy (well, mainly Maddie, suprise suprise!) But Daisy had a grand time with Trigger!

The girls met a baby pig for the first time! Loved it!

While Reagan gets to lick marshmallows - Maddie gets to shove them in her mouth, whole! :-) LOL - Oh Boy! (I think that was #5 or 6, also!)

No training wheels - didn't go far, well, didn't go anywhere - but it's a good thought!

Nate asked her if she thought she could get any dirtier - without hesitation, she nodded and said, "uh-huh!"

Always trying new things and totally fine with being by herself!

Abigail LOVED playing with the big girls - she was gone most the day - somewhere with them!

OHMIGOODNESS! She loved holding this squealing pig! When he started to try to jump out, she let him go though!

That's kind of "once-in-a-lifetime" for this crew - but certainly fun!

Posting Comments!!!

Ok, so I've had some complaints about posting comments to the blog - I know, it's a pain in the butt! However, I think I might have a solution...

I created a generic email account in google, so whoever is interested can log on using that account and post to the blog... I think it will work.... try it out and see! :-)

Once you go to the comment page, it will ask you to select a profile at the bottom - select Google, verify the words it asks, and then enter the new email and password.

Email: babybluesx2
password: babyblues

**Make sure you uncheck the box that asks "Remember me on this computer" since other people will be using that account as well! Thanks!

Let me know if it works, or if you're having a problem... just trying things out! :-)

New Song....

I posted this song just for Maddie! It's the song from the Curious George movie! It's her theme song! There's no stopping her curiousity... Turning Life UpsideDown... finding things they say can't be found... and sharing her love with everyone!

She's just cute enough to want to squeeze her, and love on her, and she's just independent enough to want to squeeze her for other reasons! :-)You know what they say, don't expect 2 "angel like" children... well, I can see some truth in that... if she's awake, she's challenging me - and doing it with a smile at that! I have many frustrating moments and always questioning what it means to be a good mom - Let's be honest... I have no idea what I'm doing - Abigail makes it look easy, and Maddie makes it feel impossible.
BUT - she is one amazing kid! She is so complex, already! One minute she's fearless, climbing on anything, like a monkey - the other she's afraid to swing too high! She loves to play with anything her sister has (usually taking it from her) but other times, she is perfectly content playing by herself! She doesn't want to be confined by hugs and being held, but on her own terms, she demands "Hold me, Mama!" Unforntutaly, getting spankings are just part of her day - but within 60 seconds of receiving one, she's running around playing again, laughing her little red tail off!

She's a trip, and although there are times I wish she would "JUST LISTEN (and obey)" I wouldn't change her for anything! On exceptionally challenging (aka Terrible) days... like yesterday... If nothing else, she makes my life interesting...and adds a variety of emotions to my day! :-)

Always Helping Mommy...

Abigail was such a great help stuffing some pillows that I was making. She is so cute - always wanting to help - it, of course usually takes a little more time, and patience on my part - but it's worth it to see how much she enjoys being a part, and the pride she has knowing that she helped with the project! :-) Sweet!

More Sleeping Bag Fun!

The girls love to bring their sleeping bags out to watch a movie - unfortunately they only stay in there for about 5 minutes, or so - but they have a really FUN 5 minutes! :-)

These posts are mainly for Mom and Dad - proof they use and love their gift! :-) (If only they would check the blog!) LOL :-)

Our new not so fun experience....

OK, so I don't have any pictures of this - but it is 10pm on Sunday night, and Abigail is snoozing soundly in her bed - now picture little Maddie... wide awake, yet quite... She has acquired 2 baby dolls somewhere in her room along with 2 small blankets. She has come out of her room 3-4 times now - I keep putting her back, but the last 2 times she has brought me her babeies to wrap up (for bed) one at a time. Now picture her trying to carry both of these babies, wrapped in bulky blankets back to her room, she stops midway, turns around, looking around the room (I think she's looking for something more to play with..) then relunctantly walks back to her room. Since I started writing this, she has come out 3 more times - clearly not tired one bit - as I write, she is sitting on the couch, lounging on the pillow, flipping through the kid's Bible - AND just ripped one page....man, totally ready for her to be in bed!
OK - back to being an attentive mom!
Somehow, at some point tonight, we will all be sleeping soundly! :-)

Having a Great Time!

I love it when they can find the simpliest things to play with and have a blast! Of course, that only lasts until the hamper tips over and nails one of them in the mouth, but still picture worthy! LOL :-)

Frustrated!

Ok, I have tried to post pictures 4 times now - I keep getting errors and the page cannot be displayed! So, for those that do check my blog, I'll keep trying, eventually - but if you're interested in the mean time about what's going on with the girls, let me know and I will send pics via email like I used to!

Great Visit with Aunt Becka and Reagan

Aunt Becka and Reagan came up to visit and stay the night. It's always lots of fun to have them here! Abigail keeps saying "we're having a sleep over!" At this point it was dinner time, and Abigail kept asking Beck if she could feed Reagan... she did a pretty good job! I was reminded when Abigail used to ask to feed Maddie - seems like a lifetime ago...

Can you touch your tongue to your nose???? I keep having Abigail practice... I'm convinced she has the "Bray tongue" and she will get it to her nose, eventually... :-) Go Becka!

Maddie was showing us all how she still eats yogurt... in light of this continual mess - I have resulted in only buying the liquid yogurt, punching a hole in the lid and serving it up with a straw - thank goodness, they love it!

Oh, I know! Totally gross... but...
she doesn't seem to mind, too much...Poor Reagan doesn't seem too happy about being Madelyn's "real baby" does she? :-)

She was a good sport! My girls just love her and love to see her react to things, and hear her talk, and make sounds - it's very sweet!

A Special Time with Papa

Before going out to eat, Abigail brought Papa a book and begged him to read it...Maddie trying to be in the middle of it all!Love this! Too CuteI thought this was too cute - how seriously engaged Abigail is in the story...

Painting Valentine's Frames

Mimi helped the girls paint the frames that Nate and I got them for V-Day.(a little more help for Maddie) They did a great job - will show the final product...eventually :-)

Just lovin' on my Maddie
